My son

Although I do not appreciate my own return, I see my son Aden and it is well. He sleeps next to me and I comb his hair a little, for it has twigs. Not unlike my own. I left him a short while today due to certain obligations but it was torment to be apart.

When I first returned I thought it must be his father. Now I have learned the truth of the matter. I had never meant to tell Soren we conceived a child. I think I am glad I did, for I learned somewhat, but my first instinct was good, for no father has he been, at the time of our child’s deepest sorrow. .
