I like this show, despite the continued humanization of Dexter.
In episode 8 Dexter works with a psychiatrist, and they speak of control. I understand this need for control. I feel it as well, in how my beloveds change so much so that we may not enter upon their consciousness. They erase very thoroughly. I admire it even as it leaves us bereft. It is ruthless.
It is odd, to find myself in mind of them rather than myself. But then I think often my motivations are more obscure than Dexter’s. I like the Ice Pick killer. In going after the sister he has no limits.
